Patience without losing your mind: INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION.
My New Year's resolutions in 2025 were simple (or so I thought):
- Be a good leader.
- Be a good communicator.
- Improve my relationship with others.
These I prayed about and added to my calendar to assess my progress by the end of the year. I began by reading every book I could find on leadership, communication, and relationships. But little did I know that the cardinal ingredient for achieving the resolutions was PATIENCE.
This is because all three require you to deal with people on a daily basis, and you simply cannot be good with people without PATIENCE. In fact, as long as you work with people, patience is a must-have.

IT IS ALL ABOUT DEALING WITH PEOPLE.
Leadership: True leadership is all about empowering people to do their best work to fulfill a common goal. (Not by being the best in your profession).
Communication: Good Communication is more about listening to understand people. (Not being the best orator).
Relationship: A Good relationship is based on:
- learning to receive feedback from people.
- learning to receive assistance from people
- Learning to trust people.
- and the willingness to forgive people.
(Not by being the one giving all the time).
MOTIVATION FOR THIS GUIDE.
